Legoland's new waterpark in Central Florida

"The park is geared for a younger visitor, and as such has a smaller capacity than other water parks in the Orlando area. With just 1,300 people in attendance at opening day, the attractions were jammed and space was at a premium. Still, as a supplement to the already successful Legoland Florida park, it's likely to be an additional draw for the park and new revenue stream..."

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment Corporate Director, Creative Development, Brian Morrow, gave InPark editor and publisher Martin Palicki this exclusive interview about new attractions at SeaWorld and Busch theme parks. They talked about Aquatica, Verbolten, Turtle Trek, Freshwater Oasis and Manta.

KidZania Cuicuilco
KidZania Chief Experience Officer Mark Snell spoke to IPM co-editor Judith Rubin about KidZania's first outdoor park, more than triple the size of the existing, eponymous indoor facilities, on a 150,000 square foot site in Cuicuilco, a southern suburb of Mexico City. “It is the next evolution of the KidZania experience,” says Snell. Laid out as a scaled-down city complete with a downtown, suburbs, landscaping and architectural landmarks, and looped by a roadway for driving education, its activities revolve around the themes of driving safety, community, health, civics and the environment. “We are taking our motto of ‘Get Ready for a Better World’ and putting it into practice through the medium of leisure entertainment,” says Snell.
